BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Lady Broncs dropped both weekend games 75-54 vs Billings Skyview and they dropped a 44-42 game at Buffalo Saturday.

The Broncs lost at Skyview 55-42 and came back with a 58-39 home win over Buffalo, Head coach Jeff Martini says they shook of a slow shooting first half and played well to get the win Saturday.

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs play at home tonight against Billings Sky View we will have that game for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM tip off is set for 7:00. They will play at Buffalo Saturday afternoon.

Head coach Larry Ligocki says coming off last weeks tournament play they went back to work to get ready for two more very good opponents this week.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc basketball team play at Billings Sky View tomorrow night and home Saturday afternoon with Buffalo at 2:00 we will have that game live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

Head coach Jeff Martini says based on what they saw in last weeks season opening games they went right back to work this week in preparation for two good games this week.

Annual Sheridan Elks Hoop Shoot Saturday

The Elks Hoop Shoot will be held this Saturday, PE Teachers at the Sheridan County schools and at Buffalo to have a shoot-off to determine their school champions and then send those school champions to the Hoop Shoot.

Any kid who did not get to shoot at their school may come on Saturday and participate.

Elks Hoop Shoot for girls and boys, ages 8 to 13, will be Sat. Dec. 21 at Sheridan Jr. High School. Check in begins at 8:30 and the Hoop Shoot will start at 9AM.

Hawks Take 2 of 3 at National Showcase / Cowgirls fall to #17 Gonzaga / Pokes Bowl Prep

HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks went 2-1 at their national showcase in Blaine, Minnesota yesterday they beat the New England Stars 4-3 in overtime. The Hawks now have a break and will resume their schedule with a home game with the Gillette Wild New Years eve at the M&M center at 8:00.

Thurston Wins 2nd World Saddle Bronc Title / Pokes Prepare for the Arizona Bowl / Hawks 1-1 at National Showcase

RODEO - Former Sheridan college Bronc rider Zeke Thurston won his 2nd World Saddle Bronc championship Saturday night at the National Finals Rodeo, Thurston’s first world title was back in 2016.

JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks are 1-1 at their National Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota yesterday they lost 5-2 to the St. Louis Junior Blues, today and finish the showcase against the New England Stars.

We will see the Hawks back at the M&M center on New Years eve when they host the Gillette Wild they will drop the puck at 8:00.
