ARIZONA BOWL - The Wyoming football Cowboys play the Georgia state Panthers in the Arizona Bowl tomorrow afternoon we will have it live on KWYO and 106.9 FM, Cowboy pregame will start at 1:30 the game kicks off at 2:30.

Head coach Craig Bohl held a brief news conference Sunday to talk about the game, first up he said the Pokes are excited to be Tucson for the game.

Head coach Craig Bohl says they have done a nice job during the break before the bowl game to do a lot of extra work.

And he talks about balancing hard work in preparation for the bowl game and to make sure the players have a great time off the field as well.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL - The Bronc the Lady Bronc basketball teams have reached the holiday break they resume the schedule January 9th for a three day tournament in Cheyenne

The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams are off until they Co-host a tournament January 10th and 11th.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers are off until January 3rd when they travel to compete at a tournament in Bozeman, Montana.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers and divers will return to the pool with home dates January 10th and 11th.

2019 Elks Hoop Shoot Results

The Elks National Hoop Shoot Program is America's largest non-commercial co-educational sports program. There are no entry fees. As the winners of each contest move on, travel expenses are paid by the Elks.

The Sheridan Elks Lodge hosted the local Hoop Shoot on Saturday, December 21 at 9AM at Sheridan Junior High School.

Boys and girls, ages 8 to 13, from Sheridan and Johnson Counties competed for the right to go to the Northeast District Hoop Shoot in Casper.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Lady Broncs dropped both weekend games 75-54 vs Billings Skyview and they dropped a 44-42 game at Buffalo Saturday.

The Broncs lost at Skyview 55-42 and came back with a 58-39 home win over Buffalo, Head coach Jeff Martini says they shook of a slow shooting first half and played well to get the win Saturday.
