State Track and Field Starts Day Two / Troopers Watching the Weather / Rockies at Philly Tonight

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - Events got underway yesterday day at the Wyoming state track and field championships in Casper most of our Sheridan county teams picked up some points during the short afternoon session events really get going today and will wrap up tomorrow evening.

Wyoming State Track and Soccer Start Today / Rockies fall at Boston / Stadler Leaving SC Volleyball Program

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - Events get underway today for the all class state championships at Kelly Walsh high school in Casper.The Sheridan Broncs are one of the favorite teams to win the state title this year.

Bronc Track Team Looks to Contend for a State Title / Rockies win Late in Boston / Troopers Hope for Dry Weekend Weather

TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan Bronc track team is poised to make another run at the 4-A state title last spring they won the east regional and finished as the runner up in the state championships, last Saturday they won their second straight regional title and will contend again for the state championship, the Lady Broncs had a strong season a year ago finishing 3rd at the state meet and are looking for another top three finish this week.

State Soccer and Track Open Thursday / Troopers Scheduled for More Weekend Games / Rox at Sox Tonight

STATE TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan Broncs and Big Horn Rams will take region titles into this week's all-class state track and field championships the state finals are are scheduled to get underway Thursday in Casper.

STATE SOCCER - The high school soccer season closes out this weekend the 3-A / 4-A Wyoming state soccer tournament opens Thursday in Jackson.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers now stand at 4-4 on the season they are scheduled for a doubleheader at the Billings Halos Saturday and back home for two Sunday with the Billings Royals weather permitting.

Broncs / Rams Win Regional Track Titles / Troops Split Doubleheader / Rockies Take Down the Padres

TRACK AND FIELD - Sheridan high school hosted the east 4-A and 1-A / 2-A combined regional meet team and individual results can be seen below on the sports page at

For the second straight spring the Sheridan Broncs took the regional title and Head coach Taylor Kelting was named the conference coach of the year, the Big Horn Rams also took the 2-A regional title.

The All-class state track and field championships are set to begin Thursday in Casper.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer Teams Knocked out of the Regionals / Troopers Play Home Opener Sunday / Rockies Beat the Giants

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams seasons came to an end last night at the regional tournament in Laramie.

The Lady Broncs were eliminated by Laramie by a score of 3-2 and the Broncs were knocked out by Cheyenne East 2-0.

TRACK AND FIELD - Track and field starts the postseason today with Sheridan high school set to host the east 4-A and 1-A / 2-A combined regional.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will take their 3-3 record into the home opener Sunday against the Laurel Dodgers the first game is set to start at 1:00.
