Bronc Football Opens Monday Morning / Broncs lose at Seattle / Rockies Drop Another at SD

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will wrap up their Big Horn mountain leadership camp with the coaches and seniors today and hold their player / parent meeting Sunday at 4:00.

Head coach Jeff Mowry says the seniors get the season started as they present at the parent meeting Sunday.

Monday morning the football starts at 7:00

WYOMING AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The state "AA" American legion baseball tournament wrapped up Tuesday, Casper won their first state title since 1996 with a 5-0 shutout win over Jackson.

The Oilers will represent Wyoming in the American legion Northwest regional tournament in Lewiston, Idaho play begins next week on Wednesday.

The state "A" American legion tournament is being played in Douglas the winners bracket games today will have Cheyenne taking on Riverton and Gillette playing Douglas.

Cody will host the American legion "A" Northwest regional starting next weekend.
