Denver Broncos Open the Preseason Tomorrow / Rockies fall to the Dodgers / Fall Sports Season Opens a Week From Monday

WYOMING AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The state "AA" American legion baseball tournament wrapped up Tuesday, Casper won their first state title since 1996 with a 5-0 shutout win over Jackson.

The Oilers will represent Wyoming in the American legion Northwest regional tournament in Lewiston, Idaho play begins next week on Wednesday.

The state "A" American legion tournament is being played in Douglas the winners bracket games today will have Cheyenne taking on Riverton and Gillette playing Douglas.

Cody will host the American legion "A" Northwest regional starting next weekend.

FALL SPORTS - The Sheridan football officials association is putting out a call to anyone interested in joining their group for the upcoming football season.

The fall sports season starts a on Monday a reminder to all fall athletes to get sports physicals completed you need them to start practicing on opening day.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team, will open the regular season at home against Rock Springs August 30th.

Big Horn, Tongue River and NSI start the regular season September 6th the Rams open on the road at Thermopolis, the Eagles open on the road at Greybull and the Wolves will open on the road at riverside.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys open the regular season at home August 31st against Missouri.
