Cowgirls Win WNIT Opener / Hastings Goes 1-1 at NCAA Wrestling / Lady Bronc Soccer Home v Cheyenne South Tonight

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - - The Wyoming Cowgirls were winners in the first round of the "WNIT" Thursday night beating Northern Colorado 68-60 here's Head coach Joe Legerski.

The Cowgirls will play at home Sunday afternoon at 2:00 against the winner of tonight's game between Lamar and South Alabama.

COWBOY WRESTLING - The Cowboy wrestling team is competing in the NCAA national tournament former Sheridan Bronc Hayden Hastings is in the 174 pound weight class and went 1-1 on the first day, Hayden dropped his first match to a wrestler from Northern Iowa and came back in round two with a Major decision victory over Lorenzo De La Riva from North Dakota state.

TRACK AND FIELD - The 2019 outdoor track season will starts tomorrow for the Broncs and Lady Broncs at the Cody invitational. They had a very good indoor season and will try an carry that momentum over as we hear from Head coach Taylor Keltting about the differences between the indoor and outdoor season.

The Big Horn track teams will compete today at an invitational hosted by Natrona county the Tongue River teams will start their season next week at an invitational in Greybull.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams start league play with the Broncs on the road at Cheyenne South and Laramie.

The Lady Broncs at home with Cheyenne south it will be varsity only tonight they will play the match at 5:00 tomorrow games with Laramie will have the JV's at 10:00 and the varsity at noon.
