Cowgirls Open the WNIT Tomorrow / Cowboy Wrestling at the NCAA's / Lady Bronc Soccer Opens League Play at Home Friday

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls will play in the "WNIT" for the 9th time under Head coach Joe Legerski they start at home tomorrow night against Northern Colorado we will broadcast the game live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM Cowgirl pregame at 6:00 with the tip at 6:30.

COLLEGE WRESTLING - The Cowboy wrestling team is sending seven wrestlers to the NCAA tournament in Pittsburgh of the seven qualifiers is former Sheridan Bronc and Cowboy red shirt freshmen Hayden Hastings the national tournament starts tomorrow afternoon.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The bronc and lady bronc soccer teams start league play this weekend with the Lady Broncs will be at home with Cheyenne South and Laramie varsity matches start at 6:00 Friday night at noon Saturday.

TRACK AND FIELD - The new outdoor track season will start Saturday for the Broncs and Lady Broncs at the Cody invitational.

The Big Horn track teams will compete Friday at an invitational hosted by Natrona county the Tongue River teams will start their season next week at an invitational in Greybull.

SPRING GOLF / TENNIS - High school spring golf will start with the first tournament April 5th in Worland and the spring tennis season starts for the Broncs and Lady Broncs in Cody April 6th.

SHS SPORTS - We have more today with Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian, this past fall and winter season the 4-A conferences were changed again to eliminate some travel and it also changed regional tournament formats and Julian says it went pretty well in it's first year.

And with soccer and track and field starting the participation numbers look good as we head into spring.
