Cowgirls Make the WNIT / High School Soccer Opens Saturday / Transition Begins for Bronc Football

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls received a bid to play in the Women's National Invitation Tournament, the Cowgirls are 21-10 and open the WNIT at home Thursday night against New Mexico state.

We will have all the Cowgirl WNIT games live on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM broadcast time Thursday night will start at 6:00.

BRONCS / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open their season at a Jamboree Saturday in Casper, the regular season opens next week with conference games against Cheyenne South and Laramie the Broncs will play at home while the Lady Broncs play on the road for the opening weekend.

On Tuesday, March 27th the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host a double header with Buffalo.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will open the outdoor season at an invitational in Cody next week.

Highlighting this year's home schedule Sheridan high school will host the annual "Gary Benson" Border War meet Tuesday, April 17th and the annual "Dan Hansen" invitational will be Saturday, April 21st.

BRONC FOOTBALL - - We wrap up our Sheridan high school football coaching change today with more from now former Head coach Don Julian, last week before the state basketball tournament started all the players and coaches met for the introduction of the next Bronc Head coach Jeff Mowry.

Julian steps aside after 11 seasons and five state titles he said last week's meeting was a whole lot different from when he took over in 2007.

And he says this year's senior class is a great example of how the program has grown over the last 11 years.
