Cowboys Drop Home Game to UCSB / Cowgirls host Chadron Tonight / Rams and Broncs Prepare for State Football Championships

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams travel for games Friday and Saturday at Miles City and Glendive, Montana.

The next chance to see them play at home will come during the annual Lion's club tournament in two weeks they will host teams from Lake Region CC and Williston state, North Dakota.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys dropped last night's home game to UC-Santa Barbara 76-66 it was a two point game with 4 minutes to play when UCSB went on a 12-1 run to put the game away.

Saturday afternoon the Pokes will play at Oregon state at 1:00 that game will be broadcast on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls play Chadron state tonight and at St. Mary's of California Friday night.

FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY - The Big Horn Rams take on Cokeville for the 1-A football state title Saturday afternoon in the first game of our championship doubleheader live from Laramie.

The Sheridan Broncs face off with Natrona county for the 4-A football championship for the third straight year.

Head coach Jeff Mowry says the Broncs are right back in a familiar spot making their 4th consecutive trip to the title game in Laramie.

Head coach Kirk Mclaughlin says the Rams now have a chance to erase the memory of last year's runner up finish beating Pine Bluffs and now get a shot at Cokeville.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys have won two straight they are off this week and will host the Air Force Academy on Saturday the 17th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos are off this week and play at the LA Chargers on the 18th.
