Lady Bronc Swimmers and Divers Prepare for State / Pokes at CSU Friday / Broncos at Chiefs Sunday

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers are off this week as they prepare for the state meet in which starts a week from tomorrow in Laramie.

They finished 2nd at the conference meet last weekend in Cheyenne and Head coach Brent Moore says the performance was good and got the momentum rolling for the state championships.

SRD - We hear more today from new Sheridan Recreation District Director Seth Ulvestad.

Ulvestad became the new SRD director officially last week, the district not only has a new director but the Rec board also has seen and expansion of members in the last month as three new people have come on board and Ulvestad says they are teaming together to move the district

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams wrapped up their season Saturday in the state championships the Lady Broncs were 5th the Broncs were 4th, Head coach Art Bauers says all in all both teams had a pretty good day.

And the state meet capped off a very good season from the both teams.

Seth Ulvestad is the new Director of the SRD / Bronc Football at East Tonight / Big Horn Hosts Southeast / Broncos Blow Away Arizona

SHERIDAN REC DISTRICT - Seth Ulvestad is officially the new Director of the Sheridan Recreation District that was the news out of the office Thursday.

After months of the Rec board searching for a new Director they decided to keep the job in house as Ulvestad will move from Youth sports specialist into the Director's chair.

Speaking from his new office at the rec department Ulvestad is excited about the new challenge and getting the department rolling into the winter season.

Weekend Sports

The Sheridan Broncs look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Cheyenne to take on the Cheyenne East T-Birds Friday Night. The Broncs are currently the No. 4 seed for the playoffs and will host at least one playoff game. We will have it live for you on KWYO and 106.9 FM. The First Federal Bank and Trust Pre-Game Show will start at 5:30pm with kickoff at 6:00pm.
The No. 1 Big Horn Rams will play their final regular season game against Southeast in Big Horn this Friday night. You can hear that game with Shane Parker on Fox Sports Radio 87.7 FM.

Weekend Sports Recap

The Sheridan Broncs were big winners this past Friday night. The Broncs took on the Laramie Plainsman. After a slow first half for the Broncs they warmed up and took it to the Plainsman 42 – 3. That will put the Broncs in the driver’s seat as they are assured of no worse than a #4 seed for the Playoffs. The Broncs will travel to Cheyenne this Friday to take on Cheyenne East.
