Buffalo shocks Broncs in OT win at Cody

The Buffalo Bison travelled to Cody last night to take on the Broncs in a Class 3A playoff game.
Buffalo and Cody played to a 21-21 tie at the end of regulation, sending the game to overtime.
Cody won the coin toss and chose to play defense first.
The Bison took the ball on the Broncs' 10-yard line but were unable to score a touchdown and settled for a field goal to take a 24-21 lead.
Cody then had their turn on offense, and the Bison kept the Broncs out of the end zone on three straight plays.
On fourth down, Cody opted to go for the touchdown instead of the field goal to send the game to a second overtime.
Buffalo held on fourth down and won the game.
The Bison move on to the 3A State Championship game next week in Laramie against Douglas Friday, November 12th at 3pm.
