Broncs Wrestlers host two big events January 2nd and 3rd / Pokes and Cowgirls open MWC play New Years eve

BRONC WRESTLING - The holiday break has begun the next live event in Sheridan will take place at Sheridan high school January 2nd and 3rd with the Sheridan Bronc wrestlers hosting duals with three Wyoming school s and the 2nd annual Border War duals with the big three school in Billings.

Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says it's tough to get a good amount of home duals for the Bronc wrestlers because most wrestling schedules are dominated with tournaments and Sheridan high school has been working for years to secure their own event and they did last year with the Border War duals.

Then on Saturday a great event with the Wyoming teams taking on the big three from Billings in the Border War duals.

INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track season opens Monday January 5th with the first meet scheduled for the 16th in Spearfish, South Dakota.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams will play at a three day tournament in Cheyenne January 8th, 9th and 10th we will broadcast all six games live on KWYO.

TR / BH BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will open the new year January 3rd with games against Rocky Mountain then join Big Horn hosting another three day tournament January 8th, 9th and 10th.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams will get one more game before opening up Wyoming conference play both teams play Monday January 5th at home.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will see their first home action of the season January 9th and 10th and they host a mini invitational on the 9th and the big Sheridan invitational on the 10th.

HAWKS HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team will open the new year on the road with games at Casper January 10th and 11th.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play tonight at Montana state you can hear it live on 14-10 KWYO broadcast time is 6:30 with the tip at 7:00 they will open conference play on the 31st at home with UNLV..

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Cowgirls are off until the 31st when they open conference play at UNLV.
