BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Gillette 38-31 to win the 4-A state football title in Laramie Saturday evening.

The Broncs built up a 31-7 halftime lead only to see the Camels charge back to get within a touchdown late in the 4th quarter, they went on a final drive to try and tie the game but the Bronc defense stopped them on 4th down at the Bronc 30 yard line with a minute and half to play, the Broncs were able to run out the clock and win the programs third state title since 2009, after the victory Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs had everything go their way in the first half as they made big play after big play, but Gillette roared back, the Broncs only score in the second half was a 70 yard pick six by Senior Zach Campbell, that play stands as the game winner, Julian says they knew Gillette wasn't going to give in an made a big run at them in the second half.

The defense made a 4th down stop in the final minute and a half to get finish off the schools 24th state football title. And the coach says the players didn't panic late in the game and found a way to get the job done.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles came up short in the 1-A title game against Upton-Sundance 33-14 was the final, the Patriots jumped out to a 26-0 lead in the first half but the Eagles found their rhythm in the second half to pull with in 26-14 but just couldn't push the issue any further.

They end their season as the runner up and with an 8-3 record earned the respect of all their opponents ans also all fans, officials and media during state championship weekend..... we will have a complete wrap up of the Eagles season on our sports broadcast tomorrow.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys lost at San Diego state 38-3 Saturday night, the Pokes are off this week and will end their season with a home game on the 28th against UNLV.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos have lost two straight after a 29-13 loss at home to Kansas City Sunday, this weekend they play at Chicago Sunday kickoff is at 11:00 am on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals swept home games over the weekend from Yellowstone christian and Presentation college.

They play tomorrow night in Glendive, Montana and will play an all-state team at home Thursday night at 7:00.

The Lady Generals will host their own tournament Friday and Saturday they play at 7:00 Friday night and at 3:00 Saturday afternoon

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat Bristol college Friday night 101-62 to start the season 1-0, the Pokes play at Indiana state this evening, Cowboy pregame at 4:30 tip off at 5:00 on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowgirls whipped Chadron state Sunday 81-53 they host St. Mary's of California Friday night on KWYO and 87.7 FM broadcast time will be at 6:30.
