Broncs Win 3rd Straight 4-A Football Title / Rams fall in a Tight 1-A Championship Game / Pokes win at AFA / Broncos Lose at Home to the Pats

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Natrona county 28-14 for their third consecutive 4-A state football title we'll get to highlights but first after the victory Head coach Don Julian.

The last team to win three straight 4-A titles was the Bruce Keith led broncs from 1990 - 92 those teams added a fourth straight in 1993.

The Broncs came out hot Aaron Sessions took the opening kickoff back 97 yards for a touchdown. They never gave up that lead as the defense held off the Mustangs time after time all night forcing four turnovers.

They also got two big plays from running back Kyle Custis who threw two touchdown passes.

Julian says they were plays they had never tried in a game before and the first one to Vigil was drawn up Saturday morning.

Aaron Sessions started the game with the first big play and he would end the night with another on defense. Julian says Sessions came up very big when the team needed it most.

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams came up short the 1-A final to Pine Bluffs 20-16, the Hornets led most of the day but the Rams were able to get back in the game scoring twice in the span of :16 seconds late in the 4th quarter to take a 16-13 lead but the Hornets had one drive left in them and drove the field and scored the game winning TD with under a minute to play.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys won at the Air Force Academy 28-14 to run their record to 7-3 they have two games left to play they Host Fresno state Saturday and the regular season at San Jose state on the 25th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos lost against New England Sunday night 41-16 they host Cincinnati Sunday afternoon.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming basketball Cowboys beat Chattanooga Friday night to open their season they play at Oregon state tonight you can hear the game live on KWYO and 106.9 FM pregame starts at 8:30 with the tip at 9:00.
