BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs won their second 4-A state football title in the last three years and 23rd overall taking down Cheyenne East 44-14 in the championship game Saturday night in Laramie.

Senior Jordan Roberts was as usual spectacular self rushing for 287 yards and four touchdowns as the Broncs built a 28-7 halftime lead.

Roberts went 29 yards on the first play of the game then Kevin Bakkehaug found Riley Ryan on a screen pass on the next play and the Broncs were out the gate.

Ryan talks about how the play looked as he caught the ball.

East answered that first Bronc touchdown but couldn't keep up and fell off the pace.

East got the ball first in the second half and on that first possession the Broncs put the game on ice when Casey Carlton stepped in front of a pass and took it back to put the Broncs up 35-7.

The Broncs finish the championship season 11-1 and on a ten game winning streak after the victory Head coach Don Julian.

It's the Broncs second title in the last three season's winning the title in 2009 then a runner-up last year to Casper Natrona then came the 2011 title.

Bronc Senior running back Jordan Roberts finished up the season with 2688 yards and 39 touchdowns.

And he says the Broncs O-line was just brilliant all year.

Senior Riley Ryan says the team really cam together and it seemed like it was their destiny to win the title.

WYOMING COWBOYS FOOTBALL - The Wyoming football Cowboys beat Air Force Saturday to go to 6-3 on the season they host New Mexico this week and a victory makes them bowl eligible.

DENVER BRONCOS - Tim Tebow worked his magic again Sunday it wasn't pretty but he's now won three of his four starts this season.

The Broncos are 4-5 overall and will host the New York Jets in a special Thursday night game we will broadcast it live for you on 14-10 KWYO pregame will start at 4:00 with kickoff at 6:20.

WINTER SPORTS - After school today the winter sports season begins with the first practices for basketball and wrestling boys swimming will follow in two weeks.

The first weekend of action will be the first weekend in December the Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams will open at home hosting a double header with Green River Friday December 2nd.
