Broncs Return Home After Undefeated Road Trip

Sheridan High School Bronc Basketball team will host Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central this weekend, and can clinch the 4A East top seed with two wins at home. The No. 2-ranked Broncs swept the two schools earlier this year during their road trip to Cheyenne. Broncs head coach Mike Ibach.

The Broncs take on East starting at 7 tonight. Tip is scheduled for 7:30. Tomorrow afternoon the Broncs host Central beginning at 1:30 pm both games can be heard on AM 1410 KWYO.

If you're looking for another reason to attend Saturday's Sheridan Broncs game, athletics Director and SHS Football coach Don Julian says halftime will have something extra.

Again, that game will begin a little before 1:30 on AM 1410 KWYO.

Lady Broncs Prep for Weekend in Cheyenne Minus Sessions

The Lady Broncs will be looking for scoring contributors this weekend as guard Stephanie Sessions will be out of the lineup indefinitely with a knee injury. They travel to Cheyenne for their late season two-game swing with East and Central. Head Coach Shawn Yager.

Sheridan sits in fourth place in the 4A East standings behind Natrona, Gillette and Laramie. Gillette can clinch the East top seed at regional with wins at East and Central this weekend. Tonight's game at East can be heard live on 95.9 FM, beginning a little after 7 pm.


Bronc wrestlers trek to Rawlins for their regional tourney this weekend. Track and Field will compete in the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho. Look for results from those events this weekend and Monday.

University of Wyoming basketball

Tune in Saturday for Cowboy basketball as the Pokes look to avoid a three-game skid, back at home against Colorado State. Wyoming beat CSU earlier this year, but has lost their last two games to New Mexico and Colorado State. The game can be heard starting with the pre-game at 6:30 Saturday evening on AM 1410 KWYO.

The Wyoming Cowgirls will be on the road to play CSU as well, they're coming off a 71-58 win over Air Force Wednesday in Colorado Springs. Sheridan's Kayla Woodward had a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards.

Other county basketball action

Normative Services beat Big Horn's JV 71 – 47 last night. The Rams play Sundance today and then Rocky Mountain on Saturday. The Lady Rams will be in Sundance on Friday and will host Rocky Mountain on Saturday afternoon.

Across the county, the Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles will both travel to Greybull on Friday and then on to Sundance on Saturday.

The Generals and Lady generals will be in Glendive, Montana to play Dawson Community College tomorrow.
