Broncos Beat the Bears / High School Football Opening day is in two Weeks / Rockies at Marlins Tonight

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will host the Rock Springs Tigers in the season opener two weeks from today kickoff will be at 7:00 pm.

Opening day is September 1st for Big Horn and Tongue River they both open at home the Rams host Rocky Mountain the Eagles host Wright.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys open the season at Iowa September 2nd the Pokes then play their home opener in week two with Gardner-Webb and the big home date with Oregon September 16th.

BRONCO FOOTBALL The Denver Broncos beat the Chicago Bears 24-17 in their exhibition opener last night, after the victory Dave Logan talked with Bronco Head coach Vance Joseph. The Broncos play at home a week from tomorrow night against San Francisco.

FALL SPORTS - The high school golf and tennis season starts this week the Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are playing again in Powell today.

The Bronc and Lady Broncs tennis teams open the season tomorrow at a jamboree in Casper. Girls swimming, cross country and volleyball teams all open practice Monday

SRD YOUTH OLYMPIC SPORTS CAMP - The Sheridan Recreation District has a fun event for kids that will take place Monday and Tuesday at Marshall park as they host an Olympic sports camp it will run both days from 9:00 to noon, program coordinator Colton Thompson says it's a great couple days of activities for kids. And the camp is open to elementary age kids.

They format the event like the Olympics and he says they have all kinds of events planned.

Again the camp is open to all kids ages 4-12 the cost is 25 dollars to sign up do it today at the Rec District office in Thorne-Rider park.
