BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers closed out the regular season last night hosting Gillette, the Camels pulled away mid way through the dual to win the conference title 43-27.

Head coach Scott Cleland says it was a good dual but just didn't go their way.

The Broncs made a great turn around this season and Cleland credits the upper classmen for showing the younger guys the way.

He says the season has gone well and now they have two weeks left of conference and state tournament competition.

Wrestling regionals begin a week from today in Gillette the state championships get underway February 24th in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams play Laramie tonight and Cheyenne South tomorrow.

The Broncs have a two game lead on the field as they enter play at Laramie tonight, the Lady Broncs are chasing Gillette and Laramie in the conference standings.

They lost in overtime in Laramie the first time around where the Plainsmen slowed the Lady Broncs down with a stingy zone defense and Lady Bronc head coach Sean Yeager says they must be better against that Laramie zone when they see it tonight.

And he says they put in a lot of hard work in practice to get better at facing those types of defenses.

And with two conference losses there is no doubt what this game means for the Lady broncs.

BH / TR BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams host games with Tongue River tonight

NSI BASKETBALL - The NSI Wolves picked up another conference victory last night blowing out Arvada / Clearmont 103-46.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Central Wyoming in Riverton tonight.

Next Wednesday they play at home against Western Wyoming. games times will be at 5:30 and 7:30 and both will be broadcast live on 95.9 FM.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will be in Riverton today and tomorrow for their conference championships.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school indoor track teams are taking this weekend off before resuming their season next week at the "Simplot games" in Pocatello, Idaho. Head coach Art Bauers says they have a good indoor season so far.

And he says this off week has come at a great times for everyone in the program

WYOMING BASKETBALL - The Wyoming basketball teams play New Mexico tomorrow the Cowboys will play at "The Pit" while the Cowgirls host the Lobos.
