Bronc wrestlers and local basketball teams on the road this week / Cowgirls down Montana

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers will be in Worland tomorrow and Saturday for a dual tournament.

Head coach Tyson Shatto says the Broncs are coming off two pretty good tournament performances in Forsyth, Montana and over in Rapid City.

And he says the Worland duals will be a chance for each wrestler to get several matches.

And he says the teams in Worland will be tough.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball team open play at the Flaming Gorge classic tournament in Green River tomorrow.

The Broncs are 4-0 and Head coach Gale Smith says the team is playing with a lot of confidence.

The Lady Broncs play Star Valley tomorrow at 1:00 the Broncs follow that game against Vernal, Utah on Friday both teams play Rock Springs the Lady Broncs start that double header at 2:40.

The final day starts early Saturday with both teams playing Roosevelt, Utah the Broncs at 8:30 Lady Broncs follow at 10:00.

All six games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams have more tournament play this week all four teams will be at the Foothills classic hosted by Wyoming Indian and Wind River high schools.

SC YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams host their one day youth basketball camps Sunday, January 5th.

The camps are open to all kindergarten through 8th grade players the girls will go in the morning the boys in the afternoon for more information go to the Sheridan college athletics web site

BRONC SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers are scheduled to compete in Cody tomorrow and over to the Riverton invitational on Saturday.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowgirls beat Montana last night 79-65. Kayla Woodward led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Fallon Lewis had 18 points and played all 40 minutes.

The Cowgirls play at Idaho Saturday afternoon, we will have that game for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM tip off is at 1:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Cowboys host SMU Friday night we will have it live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM the broadcast will start at 6:30.
