BRONC SWIMMING - The news wasn't too good for the Bronc swimming and diving program when practice for the new season started a week ago.

Only three swimmers showed up for the first day this week the outlook isn't as bleak but it's not great either a few more swimmers have come out first year Head coach Brent Moore.

And he says the guys in the pool right now are putting in the hard work to be ready to start the season Saturday.

The Broncs will struggle this year at invitationals and in duals with the numbers so low Moore says it will be more about individual improvement and the team stuff will have to come later.

Moore runs the Sheridan age group program and works every day with junior high students and says he'll be using that as a tool to attract more kids to the Sheridan high school swimming and diving program.

The Broncs were scheduled to open the season at the Casper relays Friday but most of the team will not have enough practices complete to be eligible to compete so they have to wait until Saturday to open the season at the Gillette pentathlon.
