Bronc Swimmers / Divers Head to State / Bronc Wrestlers Have Their Regionals / SRD fun run Rescheduled for Saturday

BRONC WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers are headed to their conference tournament this weekend in Cheyenne which will seed all the wrestlers for next week's all-class state championships.

The young Broncs had a break out season, Head coach Tyson Shatto says this young bunch of wrestlers put together a very good season.

As they prepare for the regional tournament the main focus this week is getting as many as they can seeded for the state championships.

And looking ahead to the state tournament next week with not much experience they really don't know what to expect.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams head to Cheyenne South and Laramie this week game times at South Friday will be at 5:30 and 7:00, Saturday they go in Laramie at 11:30 and 1:00 we will have all four games live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams are at home against Upton Friday night and play at Moorcroft Saturday to close out the regular season.

EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles end the regular season with two on the road this week at Sundance and Upton.

PANTHERS BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont teams have home games this weekend with Hulett and Midwest.

The East 2-A Regional tournament will be played next week in Torrington the 1-A East Regional will be played in Douglas.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals play at Little Big Horn tomorrow night then at home Saturday against Gillette games are scheduled for 3:00 and 5:00.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play at San Diego state tomorrow night you can hear the game on KWYO and 106.9 FM broadcast time is at 8:30, the Cowgirls host San Diego state.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers will compete at the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships 4-A prelims start in Laramie Friday.

HAWKS HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team swept two games from Riverton in their regular season finale last weekend the Hawks sit in the 6th place in the season standings.

Next week Sheridan hosts the state high school hockey tournament Friday through Sunday.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District postponed last Saturday's "Be my Valentine" fun run because of weather, race organizer Seth Ulevstad says they will run the event this coming Saturday with the same start time in Thorne-Rider park.
