BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team took two matches over the weekend running their record to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

They beat Cheyenne South 11-0 Friday and came back and beat Laramie 2-1 Saturday.

The Broncs split their games they are 5-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

They beat up South Friday 9-0 and had a rough outing Saturday losing to Laramie 2-0. Head coach Kevin Riser says it just wasn't their day Saturday.

Now he says that loss makes their games this week with Cheyenne East and Central very important.

This week the matches with Cheyenne East will be Friday evening and Cheyenne Central Saturday afternoon. The Lady Broncs will be at home the Broncs on the road

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK AND FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams both finished 3rd at the Cody invitational Saturday.

Event winners were Katie Rotellini winning the 800 meters and the bronc's Casey Carlton won the 200 and 400 meters. This week both teams will compete at an invitational in Gillette Saturday events begin at 10:00.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will take to the field at Thorne-Rider stadium this evening at 5:00 for their first workouts of the spring. Head coach Ben Phillips is looking forward to getting the players on the field.

The Troops open their season on May 6th hosting two games with Casper the Jets opener will also open May 6th with road games in Gillette.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - Sheridan high school Head golf coach Larry Martoglio says the Broncs and Lady Broncs will have their first practice for the spring season after school on today at Kendrick golf course.

Their first spring tournament will be in Gillette Thursday, April 12th.

COLORADO ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies open their season with a three game series in Houston April 5th, the home opener at Coors field is Monday, April 9th against San Francisco.
