Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer Teams Knocked out of the Regionals / Troopers Play Home Opener Sunday / Rockies Beat the Giants

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams seasons came to an end last night at the regional tournament in Laramie.

The Lady Broncs were eliminated by Laramie by a score of 3-2 and the Broncs were knocked out by Cheyenne East 2-0.

TRACK AND FIELD - Track and field starts the postseason today with Sheridan high school set to host the east 4-A and 1-A / 2-A combined regional.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will take their 3-3 record into the home opener Sunday against the Laurel Dodgers the first game is set to start at 1:00.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat San Francisco Thursday afternoon Jack Corrigan has the wrap up. You can hear the game on Fox Sports radio 87.7 FM.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL - Longtime Wyoming Cowgirl basketball assistant coach Gerald Mattinson took over the Head coach duties of the Cowgirls this week after Joe Legerski retired.

Mattinson is a Rock Springs native and has been coaching for the last three decades and has been on Legerski's staff from the beginning making this transition smooth for the program, here's the Cowgirls new Head coach.

And Mattinson says the players they recruit are the same that have helped build the program over the last two decades.
