BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams ended the regular season Friday night sweeping matches from Gillette the scores were identical with Sheridan coming out on top 2-1.

Hartley Stewart scored on a corner kick in the 80th minute to give the Lady Broncs the victory.

Soccer regional tournament play starts Thursday the Lady Broncs will open their tournament on Friday in after receiving a first round bye the girls regional will be played in Laramie.

The Broncs also have a first round bye next week and will play Friday afternoon as they are the host team for their regional.

Sheridan high school hosts the tournament there will be two games each day at 4:00 and 6:00 Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the 3rd / 4th place match will be played at 10:00 and the regional title match will follow at noon.

The state soccer championships will be played at the Big Horn Equestrian center the tournament will begin Thursday May 17th.

TRACK AND FIELD - Next week regional track meets will be held at various sites around the state.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete in the 4-A east regional at Cheyenne South high school.

The 1-A and 2-A East regional for NSI, A/C, Big Horn and Tongue River will be with the 4-A schools at Cheyenne South.

Regional meets will be held next Friday and Saturday

The all-class Wyoming state high school track and field championships begin Thursday, May 17th in Casper at Kelly Walsh high school.

BRONC / LADY BRONC GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will host their spring invitational Tuesday at Kendrick golf course.

The spring golf season will end with the 4-A East conference tournament in Casper starting Monday, May 14th.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open the baseball season opens next Friday when they host a single nine game with the Casper Oilers Friday night the game will start at 7:00.

The home opening celebration has been moved to next Sunday afternoon when the Troops host a double header with the Powell Pioneers.

The first game of that double header will start at 1:00 and we will be broadcasting that game live on 14-10 KWYO.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost 9-8 in 11 inning against Atlanta Friday night the same two play again Saturday night at Coors field.
