BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams are both conference and now regional tournament champions after victories Saturday.

Both teams beat Cheyenne central in the regional title games the Lady Broncs won 1-0 and the Broncs 3-0 both will have number one seeds heading into this week's state tournament.

The Broncs shut out both their opponents in the tournament after the win Saturday Head coach Kevin Riser.

And Riser says the broncs are in a good place right now as they prepare to defend their state title.

Bronc senior Hunter Reece really made the broncs go over the weekend and is the player that runs the show on the field says they are playing well it was fun to win the conference title but now they must focus on the state tournament.

They open the state soccer championships at the Big Horn Equestrian center Thursday the Lady Broncs open with Riverton at 2:30 the Broncs will follow against Riverton at 4:30.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 3-0 after beating Casper Friday and taking two from Powell Sunday. They took game one 10-0 and game two 14-10.

Lucas Giesey got the win in the first game throwing a one hitter and striking out eight. Head coach Ben Phillips says Geisey was really solid in his first start of the season.

The Troops banged out 10 hits with Drew Adierans leading way going 4-4 with four singles and three runs scored.

They are off until Saturday when they host Gillette for two and a double header Sunday with Miles City.

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRACK - The Sheridan Broncs and Lady Broncs competed in their regional track meet in Cheyenne over the weekend the Lady Broncs placed 5th the Broncs were 4th.

Now it's onto the Wyoming state high school track and field championships beginning Thursday at Kelly Walsh high school in Casper.

ROCKIES - The Colorado Rockies were swept by the Dodgers over the weekend and will open a series tonight at San Francisco.
