Bronc / Lady Bronc Hoops Split with KW / Big Horn Sweeps Burns / TR Drops two to Pine Bluffs

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams the opening games in a tournament in Cheyenne Thursday.

The Lady Broncs and Casper Kelly Walsh were tied at 27 at halftime, Kelly took a seven point lead into the 4th quarter and went on to beat the Lady Broncs 59-47.

Riley Raffferty led the Lady Broncs with 11 points, Emily Kilpatrick had 10.

The Lady Broncs fall to 1-6 on the season.

The Broncs led Kelly Walsh wire to wire whipping the Trojans 54-30 they were up eight going into the 4th quarter and blew the game open in the 4th outscoring the Trojans 22-8.

Defensively the Broncs were outstanding Parker Christensen dominated inside and led the scoring with 14 points, Abe Ross started the Broncs 4th quarter run with two three point baskets and finished with 13 points, Tristan Bower chipped in with 11.

The Broncs are now 5-2 on the season today both teams play Green River the boys go first at 3:30 the girls go at 5:00 we will have both games live for you on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

RAMS / LADY RAMS BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams opened up play hosting the North / South challenge tournament Thursday .

The Rams and Lady Rams swept games with Burns the girls won 64-27 and the boys 62-39.

Today they both play twice against Pine Bluffs and Lusk.

EAGLES / LADY EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles played Pine Bluffs dropping both games Pine took the girls game 59-32 and the boys game 91-53.

Today they play games against Burns and Southeast.
