Bronc / Lady Bronc Basketball Back on the Road / Pokes lose at SDSU / Cowgirls Whip the Aztecs / State Swimming and Diving Opens Friday in Laramie

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams have road games at Cheyenne South and Laramie game times at South tomorrow will be at 5:30 and 7:00, Saturday they go in Laramie at 11:30 and 1:00 we will have all four games live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

There is a lot on the line for both teams for the Lady Broncs they have a chance to secure a spot in the regional tournament in two weeks for the Broncs they are back on top of the league standings as they try an get one of the two automatic state tournament bids but both teams face tough road games at South and Laramie.

The Lady Broncs beat South and Laramie at home, Head coach Larry Ligocki says they will have to play very well to get it done.

Last weekend the Lady Broncs were better making shots and he says they have to do more of the same tomorrow night to give themselves a chance.

The boys 4-A East has been very competitive this season the Broncs have battled back to the top of the conference standings with two wins last week but Head coach Jeff Martini says they have no chance to relax with two very good teams to play this weekend.

In their wins over Cheyenne Central and East Point guard Tristan Bower was outstanding and Martini says right now Bower is playing at a high level.

BH HOOPS - The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams are at home against Upton tomorrow night and play at Moorcroft Saturday to close out the regular season.

TR HOOPS - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles end the regular season with two on the road this week at Sundance and Upton.

A/C HOOPS - The Arvada / Clearmont teams have home games this weekend with Hulett and Midwest.

REGIONAL HOOPS - Next week Big Horn and Tongue River will be at the East 2-A regional in Torrington the Arvada / Clearmont Panthers and Lady Panthers will be at the 1-A East regional in Douglas.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Lady Generals beat Little Big Horn CC 85-45 Wednesday night they now join the Generals for home games Saturday against Gillette games are scheduled for 3:00 and 5:00.

COWBOY HOOPS - The Wyoming Cowboys have dropped two in a row after losing 87-77 at San Diego state last night, they play at home Saturday afternoon against San Jose state that game will tip off at 2:00 and will be broadcast live on 87.7 FM Fox sports radio.

COWGIRL HOOPS - The Cowgirls drilled San Diego state 70-50 last night they play their next game on the road at San Jose Saturday.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Broncs will compete at the Wyoming state swimming and diving championships 4-A prelims start in Laramie tomorrow.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers head to their conference tournament in Cheyenne matches begin tomorrow.

INDOOR TRACK - The Sheridan high school indoor track qualifiers are headed to the annual "Simplot Games" in Pocatello, Idaho, events get underway today.

STATE HOCKEY - The Sheridan Hawks hockey team are the hosts for the state high school hockey tournament next week Friday through Sunday.
