Bronc / Lady Bronc basketball back in action Monday / Pokes fall in double OT / Broncos host Bengals Monday night

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams play next week in the Energy classic tournament in Gillette. They open the tournament Monday against teams from Lynwood, California.

The Broncs are 2-2 heading into the tournament, Head coach Gale Smith.

The Lady Broncs will get a good test in Gillette as well then they'll open the new year with Wyoming schools down in Cheyenne, Lady Broncs Head coach Jessica Pickett says by the time conference play rolls around in the middle of January the it should be a great league again this season.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn and Tongue River basketball teams will host the Winter classic tournament January 7th, 8th and 9th. Burns, Pine Bluffs, Lusk and Southeast come to Sheridan county to play round robin games at both schools.

WRESTLING - The Bronc wrestlers are off until next Saturday when they host the Border War duals at Sheridan high school.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers are now off until January 7th and 8th when they compete at an invitational in Gillette.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD - Indoor track practice begins at Sheridan high school Monday January 4th.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals open 2016 January 6th with conference games at home against Gillette.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys lost 94-89 in double overtime against Houston, Josh Adams had 34 for the Cowboys it was his third straight game with at least 30 points.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls open Mountain West conference play next week on Wednesday against San Diego state the Pokes travel the Cowgirls are at home.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host the Bengals Monday night we will have it live on KWYO and 87.7 FM kickoff is at 6:30.
