GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers hosted their spring invitational yesterday day at Kendrick golf course.

The Sheridan Broncs made it 31 consecutive tournament wins. Senior Kamrin Allen won the event with a round of 69, Chris Cremer shot 74, Ben Wollenzien shot 77, Jack Mavrakis 78 and Andrew Giorgis 80.

The spring golf season will end with the 4-A east conference tournament in Casper starting Monday.

TRACK AND FIELD - Regional track meets will be held Friday and Saturday at various sites around the state.

All of our Sheridan county teams will be competing at their regional meets in Cheyenne as the 1-A, 2-A and 4-A regional is combined into one big meet.

Sheridan high school track coach Art Bauers says the last eight weeks have prepared the athletes for the two biggest events of the season the regional and state Championships.

The all-class Wyoming state high school track and field championships begin Thursday, May 17th in at Kelly Walsh high school in Casper.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams open regional tournament play Friday.

The Lady Broncs will open their tournament in Laramie and will play against the winner of tomorrow's match between Gillette and Cheyenne East.

The Broncs will play Friday evening in the semi finals against the winner of tomorrow's match between Cheyenne East and Gillette.

The boys regional is being played at Sheridan high school there will be two games each day at 4:00 and 6:00 tomorrow and Friday.

The 4:00 match tomorrow has Cheyenne Central facing Cheyenne South, the game at 6:00 will have Gillette against Cheyenne East.

Saturday the 3rd/4th place match will be played at 10:00 and the regional title match will follow at noon.

The state soccer championships get underway at the Big Horn Equestrian center next Thursday.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers open the baseball season opens Friday night when they host a single nine game with Casper the game will start at 7:00.

The home opening celebration for the Troops will take place Sunday afternoon when they host a double header with the Powell Pioneers.

The first game of that double header will start at 1:00 and we will be broadcasting that game live on 14-10 KWYO.

SC BOOSTER CLUB GOLF - The Sheridan college booster club will host there annual golf tournament at the Powder Horn next Friday Sheridan college Generals basketball coach Steve Smiley.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost their 5th straight last night at San Diego they play the Padres again this afternoon. You can hear the game live on Sports / Talk 87.7 FM broadcast time is set for 1:05.
