Bronc Football Comes out With a 37-34 OT win Over NC / Cowboys Shut out GW / Broncos v Chargers Tonight

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat the Natrona county Mustangs in an epic #1 / #2 battle at Sheridan high school Friday night the lead went back and forth all night with the Broncs breaking out to a 31-17 4th quarter lead but the Mustangs hung in and scored twice in the final minute to force overtime.

The Bronc defense came up with a big stand and forced NC to kick a short field goal and on the Broncs first play in OT Parker Christensen caught a short pass from Aaron Woodward and dove into the End Zone for the winning score and the Broncs pulled out the 37-34 win.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian says NC kept coming at them but they were able to pull it out.

And he said the final play was called from something that had happened early in the 4th quarter.

And with that victory the heat really gets turned up on the Broncs.

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams whipped Southeast 51-23 to run their record to 2-0 the Rams host Pine Bluffs Friday night at 7:00.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles lost 12-0 at Niobrara county the Eagles are 1-1 and will host Shoshoni Friday night the game will be broadcast live on Sports Talk 87.7 FM kickoff is at 6:00 Ron Richter will have the play by play.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys shut out Gardner-Webb 27-0 the Cowboys are back and War Memorial stadium Saturday night against Oregon pregame is at 4:00 with kickoff at 5:00 live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos open the regular season tonight at home against the LA Chargers kickoff is set for 8:20 you can hear it all live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

GOLF - The Sheridan high school golfers end their fall season at the state championships in Evanston the first round will be played Friday,

X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams hosted the "Michelle Ludwig" Sheridan invitational Saturday the Broncs were 2nd with the top finisher Brian Gonda he was 4th overall.

The Lady Broncs were 4th both teams will run at there next meet Thursday over in Custer, South Dakota.

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams were in Gillette Saturday the Lady Broncs beat Campbell county while the Broncs swept Campbell county and Thunder Basin. The regular season is over the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host the regional tournament Friday and Saturday.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will opened conference play hosting Cheyenne South and Laramie they split the matches and head back out on the road for more conference games this week at Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East.

GENERALS SOCCER - The Sheridan college Men's soccer team has a special event coming up Saturday night, they host Gillette at 7:30 and it will be Storm soccer night.

The first 100 fans receive a free glow stick and all Storm soccer players are encouraged to wear their uniforms and will be playing on the field at halftime, Storm soccer will also be cooking up the food serving burgers and dogs for 5 dollars.
