BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs start a full week of two a day work outs today and they get ready to open defense of their 2009 4-A state title. the regular season begins August 27th at Casper Kelly Walsh.

It's been a good off season and this past weekend the Broncs had their leadership camp in the Big Horns and their parent meeting last night and now it's out onto the field. Today they start with meetings at 7:00 am then practice and then again this afternoon at 4:30. Head coach Don Julian says the players have put in their time and are now ready to get the season started.

NFL - The Denver Broncos will open their four game exhibition schedule this Sunday with a game at Cincinnati. We will broadcast the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO and on our sister station 93.7 FM HD channel two. Broadcast time Sunday will be at 4:00 pm.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys opened their training camp last week. The Pokes open the season at home September 4th against Southern Utah. On September 11th they will head to Austin to play Texas.

REC DISTRICT TENNIS - The Sheridan recreation district hosted the JD Mullinax tennis tournament over the weekend play concluded Sunday at the Thorne-rider park tennis courts.

The Women's double winners were Haley King and Emily Berry they defeated fellow Lady Bronc players Hailey Legoicki and Katie Legocki.

The Men's doubles champs were Sheridan high school tennis coach Bob Faurot and his partner Craig Needles they beat Seth Stadick and David Berry.

The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams officially open fall practice a week from today.

FALL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS - All other fall high school sports including Big Horn and Tongue River football and begins next Monday.

LADY RAMS VOLLEYBALL - The Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball team will have their player / parent meeting Thursday night at 6:00 in the Big Horn gym all players and parents are asked to attend.

TR GOLF - Tongue River high school golf coach Sandy Michelena will have his player parent meeting at the high school Wednesday evening at 7:00.All players and their parents are asked to attend.

All Sheridan county coaches including those in the junior high want to remind all players they must have sports physicals complete before they can practice with their teams.
