BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country teams have had a great fall season and will run at their regional meet in Cheyenne Friday.

Head coach Art Bauers says the runners have put in the hard work and have been rewarded with a good regular season and now they kick into even higher gear getting ready for the last two races of the year.

The big prize in the state championships which will be held in Douglas next week so they have to balance the importance of doing well this week knowing that the big meet is next week.

And Bauers says he has a good feeling about both teams as they get ready for the biggest races of the season.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING AN DIVING - The non-qualifiers get one more chance to get into the state swimming and diving championships this weekend. The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will be in Gillette Friday and Saturday for the regional.

All state meet qualifiers then have a week off before the state championships which will also be held in Gillette October 28th and 29th.

FOOTBALL RANKINGS - The latest high school football rankings are out following their 45-23 win over Evanston last week the 6-1 Sheridan Broncs moved up to 2nd place behind number one Casper Natrona.

The Big Horn Rams are the unanimous number one 2-A team again this week and the Buffalo Bison remain the third ranked team in class 3-A.

BRONC FOOTBALL - Friday the Broncs play at Cheyenne Central with playoff position on the line we will broadcast the game for you live on AM 14-10 KWYO, 95.9 FM and on-line at The Don Julian show will start the show at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.

EAGLES / RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams and Tongue River Eagles meet in their annual rivalry game in Dayton Friday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 and we will have it for you live on KWYO Ron Richter will have the play by play.

BISON FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison are also in the hunt for the home field advantage in the 3-A playoffs, they play at Torrington Friday night.

WOLVES FOOTBALL - The NSI Wolves will play at home Friday evening against the Lusk Tigers.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys host Utah Saturday evening kickoff in Laramie is at 4:00. Quarterback Austyn-Carta-Samuels will be back on the field this week after missing last week's 45-0 loss at TCU because of an undisclosed injury.

The team and university were tight lipped about Carta-Samuels absence last week but he will be on the field against the Utes. You can hear the game live Saturday on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

TR / BH VOLLEYBALL - The Tongue River Lady Eagles play at Big Horn tomorrow night. The varsity match is scheduled to get underway at 7:30.

LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals will also play at home tomorrow night they host Central Wyoming at 7:00. Friday they host a match with Northwest college also at 7:00.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs will close out their regular season Friday and Saturday with road matches at Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East.
