SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams got a lot of good tennis in over the summer as several tennis enthusiasts in Sheridan held summer programs for the players.

New Sheridan high school Head coach Bob Faurot says, playing most of the summer has made a big difference for the players.

They open the season next Thursday with matches in Jackson so he says they got right to work to be ready to take the court in a week.

Last fall the Lady Broncs finished 2nd at the state tournament behind Jackson and Faurot says they'll know more over the next few weeks how good the Lady Broncs can be in 2010.

The Broncs finished 7th at the state tournament last fall and Faurot says they will be looking to move up in the standings this season.

The first home varsity action for the Broncs and Lady Broncs will be September 9th when they host conference matches with Gillette.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLF - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers open the season tomorrow at a two day tournament in Riverton.

The Big Horn and Tongue River golfers along with Head coach Sandy Michelena will begin their fall season tomorrow as well they will be at a two day tournament in Kemmerer.

VOLLEYBALL - The fall sports season begins for the rest of our Sheridan county teams next Friday, the Lady Bronc and Big Horn Lady Rams volleyball teams open the season at the Riverton invitational tournament

The Tongue River Lady Eagles volleyball team will open at a tournament in Lovell.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will open with the Casper Relays next Friday and the Gillette pentathlon Saturday.

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc Cross Country runners will be on the road next Friday for an invitational in Cody.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will host the annual “Michelle Ludwig” Sheridan invitational meet September 10th.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The football season begins with the Sheridan Broncs at Casper Kelly Walsh on the 27th. The Tongue River Eagles will open on the road in Hulett on September 3rd and the Big Horn Rams will open at Greybull also on September 3rd.

NFL - The Denver Broncos play their next preseason game Saturday night at home against the Detroit Lions we will broadcast the action for you live on AM 14-10 KWYO AND 95.9 FM the broadcast will begin at 6:00.

UW FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys open the 2010 season at home against Southern Utah Saturday September 4th. It's a night game with kickoff set for 7:00. You can hear all cowboy football games live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.
