WYO Steer Roping Results / Rockies Drop Game With D-Backs / Troopers Host two Friday

WYO RODEO - Three rounds of steer roping were held Tuesday during the first slack performance of the Sheridan WYO rodeo.

Chris Glover from Keenesburg, Colorado got the top time in the first go with a time 13.1, Vin Fisher Jr. from Andrews, Texas took the second go in a time of 10.5 and Jason Evans from Glen Rose, Texas took the third go in a time of 10.2.

Slack continues today beginning at 9:00 am and the first performance of the 2018 WYO rodeo starts tonight at 7:00.

Troops Drop two in Laurel / WYO Rodeo Opens / Little Bronc Football Camp Starts Monday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped both ends of a doubleheader in Laurel, Montana Monday night the Dodgers took game one 5-3 and game two 14-7.

The Troopers will play at home Friday afternoon they host two with the Billings Scarlets game one will start at 1:00.

Troopers Split Four / WYO Rodeo Week Begins / Booster Club Golf Sunday

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split for games over the weekend sweeping a doubleheader with Rapid City Post 22 winning 3-2 and 17-16 they dropped two in Cody Sunday 4-3 and 3-2 they play two more in Laurel, Montana today..

WYO RODEO - Sheridan WYO rodeo week starts today, going on all day at the fairgrounds will be the rodeo royalty competition.

Tomorrow slack timed events begin in the fairgrounds arena at 7:00 am the day culminates with the annual Boot Kickoff set to take place in Whitney Commons activities will start at 4:00.

The Sheridan College Rodeo team traveled to Laramie, WY this weekend to end the 2017-2018 NIRA rodeo season!

On the women’s side Lakken Bice had a great rodeo again this weekend in the barrel racing. She placed third in the first round with a time of 14.59 seconds.

In the short round, she had a smoking run of 14.45 on the bottom of the ground to get the short round win and split the average win. Lakken ended the season in the barrel racing in 5th place in the region.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams get back on the field this evening the Lady Broncs play at Campbell county while the Broncs host the Camels they beat Campbell county 2-1 in their first meeting of the season and Head coach Scott Soderstrom says the Broncs have to find away to get more scoring tonight. The Bronc JV's play at 4:00 the varsity goes at 6:00.

Cowboy Football Coach Craig Bohl Visits Sheridan / Troopers Take 3 of 4 / Rockies Fall at the Fish

UW FOOTBALL - University of Wyoming Quarterback Josh Allen was selected 7th in the first round of the NFL draft taken by the Buffalo Bills last Thursday, Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl had a front row seat for the entire process he was in Sheridan Sunday talking with fans at the the Cowboy Joe spring function.

Bohl says the draft process went well for the most part for Allen and he believes Josh will be a good fit in Buffalo.
