Junior Hawks Hockey Home Opener Friday Night / Bronc Football at Thunder Friday / Wyoming at Tulsa Saturday

SHERIDAN HAWKS JUNIOR HOCKEY - The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team opened their regular season with two blow out wins in Butte, Montana Head coach Andy Schieb said the Hawks had a pretty good opening weekend.

And he says defense will be their focus going into action this weekend.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs beat Natrona county 34-7 to get their record to 3-0 they were sharp building up a 24-7 halftime lead and shut NC out in the second half, Head coach Jeff Mowry said the players did a nice job of playing tough after their road game at Cheyenne Central.

Senior Quarterback Jacob Boint was in command of the offense and he did a great job of getting the Broncs rolling.

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers are coming off two long road trips to start their season which culminated last Saturday with a solid 3rd place finish at the Green River invitational.

Head coach Brent Moore says the results so far have been good for the Lady Broncs.

And they are just about ready to ramp up the next phase of training.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne Central as both teams waited through two lightning delays to get the game in the Broncs broke through in the second half and pulled out the 28-14 victory.

Garrett Coon had three touchdown runs to lead the way after the victory Head coach Jeff Mowry says it was a tough night but they hung in there and got the win.
