Richard Wright out as SRD Director

The Sheridan Recreation Board went into executive session at their meeting Wednesday and voted to make a change in the leadership of the the Rec District. Long time Director Richard Wright will no longer be in that role as the board voted to go in a new direction Wright's last day will be at the end of May.

Rec District Board Chair Don Julian spoke with Sheridan Media Wednesday afternoon to make the announcement full details and comments from Julian can be heard Thursday morning on News / Talk 930 KROE Sports.

SHS Soccer Results / Troopers Play Home Opener Sunday / Rockies win at Wrigley

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams played Campbell county Tuesday night the Lady Broncs lost in Gillette 3-0 while the Broncs let a victory get away and had to settle for a 2-2 tie.

The Broncs dominated play in the match last night and held a 1-0 lead but Campbell was able to send the game into overtime scoring in the final minute of regulation.

SC Generals Rodeo results

The Sheridan College Rodeo team traveled to Laramie, WY this weekend to end the 2017-2018 NIRA rodeo season!

On the women’s side Lakken Bice had a great rodeo again this weekend in the barrel racing. She placed third in the first round with a time of 14.59 seconds.

In the short round, she had a smoking run of 14.45 on the bottom of the ground to get the short round win and split the average win. Lakken ended the season in the barrel racing in 5th place in the region.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams get back on the field this evening the Lady Broncs play at Campbell county while the Broncs host the Camels they beat Campbell county 2-1 in their first meeting of the season and Head coach Scott Soderstrom says the Broncs have to find away to get more scoring tonight. The Bronc JV's play at 4:00 the varsity goes at 6:00.

Cowboy Football Coach Craig Bohl Visits Sheridan / Troopers Take 3 of 4 / Rockies Fall at the Fish

UW FOOTBALL - University of Wyoming Quarterback Josh Allen was selected 7th in the first round of the NFL draft taken by the Buffalo Bills last Thursday, Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl had a front row seat for the entire process he was in Sheridan Sunday talking with fans at the the Cowboy Joe spring function.

Bohl says the draft process went well for the most part for Allen and he believes Josh will be a good fit in Buffalo.

Josh Allen Goes 7th to the Buffalo Bills / Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer Split With East / Troopers Open 2018 This Weekend

JOSH ALLEN - University of Wyoming Quarterback Josh Allen was selected 7th in the first round of the NFL draft taken by the Buffalo Bills who made a trade to move up in the draft order so they could take Allen with the 7th pick.

The process is now over for Allen he is now a pro football player for the Buffalo Bills.

And Allen says it's been quite a ride to get to this point of his football career.
