Bronc / Lady Bronc soccer shutout Cheyenne South / Track in Cody today / March Madness continues

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams had no problem posting their first conference victories of the season Friday night.

The Lady Broncs whipped Cheyenne South 6-0 in Cheyenne and improve their overall record to 3-0. They play at Laramie this afternoon.

The Broncs drilled South at Homer Scott stadium Friday night 9-0 they also hold a 3-0 overall record.

The Broncs host Laramie this afternoon, the Plainsmen and Gillette tied at 1-all Friday night.

The JV's will play today at 10:00 with the varsity going at noon.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open conference play today with Cheyenne South the JV's play at 4:00 and the varsity games go off at 6:00.

The Lady Broncs will be in Cheyenne and the Broncs at Homer Scott stadium. Tomorrow they play Laramie JV's at 10:00 and varsity at noon.

Both teams enter play this weekend with 2-0 records Lady Bronc Head coach Mallerey Marshall says they expect good challenges in both matches.

Local Soccer and Track take center stage this weekend / Sweet 16 begins tonight

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams open conference play tomorrow and Saturday with games against Cheyenne South and Laramie.

The Broncs will be at home the JV's play at 4:00 tomorrow the varsity will go at 6:00. The games with Laramie Saturday will be at 10:00 and noon.

TRACK / FIELD - The Sheridan high school track teams will compete at an invitational Cody Saturday.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer sweep KW / 4-A East Basketball changes

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer team swept matches with Casper Kelly Walsh Tuesday night.

The Lady Broncs beat KW 3-2 all five goals were scored in the final 30 minutes of play, the Lady Broncs had a two goal lead twice and then held off a late Kelly charge for the win.

Head coach Mallerey Marshall says they made some good adjustments at halftime and got aggressive with the ball in the second half.

The University of Wyoming men’s golf team opened play at the Duck Invitational on Monday morning in Eugene, Ore.

The Pokes shot a first round score of 304 (+16) and carded a 296 (+8) in the afternoon to finish the opening day of the 54-hole tournament in 12th place in the 16-team field with a tally of 600 (+24).

Sophomore Kamrin Allen (Sheridan) had a couple of his best rounds of the spring to start the tournament off, which is being held at the par-72, 7-165-yard Emerald Valley Golf Course.

Youth Hoop Champs

Big Horn Rams 5th Grade Boys won the 5th Grade Division of the 24th Annual Casper Youth Basketball Tournament this past weekend.

There were 180 teams from 6 states participating and they won the 5th Grade Boys Championship game against Rocks Springs 20-17.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer back in action tonight / 4-A Conference basketball changes coming in 2015

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have matches today with Casper Kelly Walsh and they come at a good time with weather wiping out most of their weekend action last Saturday.

Both teams did win matches last Friday with Riverton tonight's games were added to the schedule to make up for missing the Casper jamboree Saturday.

The Lady Broncs will play at home tonight JV's play at 4:00 with the varsity going at 6:00.

SC Volleyball Signs Colorado recruit

The Sheridan College Volleyball team is pleased to announce their latest addition to the 2014 roster with the signing of Mikayla Hoffman. Mikayla is a 6’0” middle hitter form Kersey, Colorado.

“Mikayla is a huge addition to our roster for next season. She not only is a great competitor but one of the top proficient hitters in the state of Colorado.” Said Head Coach Jennifer Stadler
