SHS Tennis Sweeps Jackson and NC / SHS Golf Tees it up in Riverton / Rockies Blast Atlanta

TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open the regular season yesterday hosting matches with Natrona county and Jackson they swept all four duals.

The Lady Broncs shut out both opponents 5-0 the Broncs did the same both teams will be back on the courts today in Gillette with matches against Thunder Basin and Riverton.

Tomorrow they are back at home with matches against Powell and Cody.

GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers play their next tournament today and Friday at the Riverton Invitational.

VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team starts day three of preseason practice today as they started their afternoon session Tuesday we talked with Head coach Maureen McEwen she says they hit the ground running and are planning on getting a lot done this week.

SHS Cross Country Set to Open 2017 Next Week / Broncos Football at San Fran Saturday / Rockies Beat the Braves

CROSS COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc Cross country teams they went through their first workout together yesterday and Head coach Art Bauers says they got a great turnout for day one he says the runners had a good off season and stayed sharp and focused on their running.

They have their first meet in Casper next week the Cross country season culminates in Sheridan once again with the state championships October 21st.

Bronc Golfer Kirkham Wins Opening Tournament / Preseason Practice Begins for Swimming, Cross Country and Volleyball / Rockies Swept in Miami

GOLF / TENNIS - The high school golf and tennis season got underway last week the Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers played in Powell.

The Broncs finished 2nd behind Casper Kelly Walsh in the individual standings the Broncs Kirby Coe-Kirkahm was the medalist with a 135 total winning by a whopping 14 shots. Kirkham was the only Bronc or Lady Bronc player to finish in the top ten. This week they play Thursday and Friday in Riverton.

The Bronc and Lady Broncs tennis teams opened their season getting a good tune up for the regular season at a jamboree in Casper.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will host the Rock Springs Tigers in the season opener two weeks from today kickoff will be at 7:00 pm.

Opening day is September 1st for Big Horn and Tongue River they both open at home the Rams host Rocky Mountain the Eagles host Wright.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys open the season at Iowa September 2nd the Pokes then play their home opener in week two with Gardner-Webb and the big home date with Oregon September 16th.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will host the Rock Springs Tigers in the season opener two weeks from today kickoff will be at 7:00 pm.

Head coach Don Julian says the Broncs have gone through three days of spirited practice and with golf, tennis starting this week and the rest of the fall sports starting Monday the fall season signals the start of another school year.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team goes into day three of preseason camp today the Broncs are the two time defending 4-A state champs heading into the season and Head coach Don Julian says they know everyone else in 4-A will be gunning for the Broncs this fall.

The Broncs host Rock Springs in the season opener August 25th kickoff will be at 7:00 pm.

The rest of Wyoming's high school football teams open practice today with opening day September 1st.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team got through their first day of two a day workouts Monday we visited with Head coach Don Julian during their midday break and he said the first time out for the players went well.

And we talked about the timeline for the players leading up to the season opener against Rock Springs on the 25th.
