Big Matches for SHS Soccer / Cowboy Joe Function tonight / Rec district adult softball meeting tonight

COWBOY JOE - The Wyoming Cowboy Joe club will be hosting their membership drive kickoff tonight at the Sheridan Holiday inn beginning at 5:30.

REC DISTRICT - The Sheridan Rec district will host an important adult softball league meeting tonight, the meeting will be held at the Sheridan junior high and will start at 6:00 all teams need to have at least one representative at this meeting. league play will start in early June.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams they have Cheyenne Central and East on the schedule the Broncs will play at home.

Weather forced the Lady Broncs indoors Tuesday Head coach Mallery Marshall they still got some good work done yesterday.

With just three matches left in the regular season the Lady Broncs have some work to do to get an automatic state tournament bid.

They split with Central and East at home now they go out on the road they beat Central and lost against East and Marshall says they have a great opportunity to get the job done this weekend.

The regular season ends next week with both teams hosting games with Gillette and Marshall says now is the time to start building momentum towards post season play.

The 4-A east regional starts May 15th in Gillette, the state championships begin May 22nd in Rock Springs.

TRACK AND FIELD - The all-class Wyoming track classic is Friday in Casper. the meet takes all the top times and distances in all events from all classes and combines them for an all star meet at Kelly Walsh high school.

All of our Sheridan county teams will compete Saturday in the Casper invitational.

The outdoor regular season ends next week with a meet in Gillette with regional meets beginning May 16th the 1-A and 2-A East will be in Torrington and the 4-A east regional will be at Cheyenne South.

The state championships start Thursday May 22nd at Kelly Walsh high school.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers play their season opening double header Sunday afternoon at the Billings Halos.

The troops home opener is May 11th they will play a double header with the Billings Royals.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Arizona 5-4 last night, they play again tonight the first pitch is at 7:40 live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.
