ALL-STATE SOCCER AWARDS - Eight Bronc and Lady Bronc senior soccer players named 1st team all-state.

For the Lady Broncs Seniors Nicci Kassen, Rickie Ryan and Noelle Golinvaux and for the Broncs Cole Smith, Braydon Drell, Hunter Reece, Gabe Dahmke and Jake Moore.

Four Buffalo Bison soccer players made the 3-A all state 1st team they are Kaleb Rodriquez, Wyatt Witty, Neil Medders, Seth Hostetler and Kade Myers.

All state voting is done by the coaches, coaches nominate their own players but cannot vote for them in the balloting.

Several athletes at Sheridan high school have received many awards this past school year with all the success the school had on the field of play.

SHS ATHLETICS - Activities Director Don Julian says a lot of that comes from the coaching staffs of those programs and he says at Sheridan high school they are having all this success doing things the right way.

The Sheridan Broncs have begun preparing for their first football camp of the off season.

The Broncs will attend the Chadron state team camp next week Julian is more than pleased with the turnout of players that will make the trip.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - Lots of holiday weekend baseball is coming up. The Sheridan Troopers will be at a tournament in Gillette they'll play four games, two on Saturday Rapid City Post #320 and Gillette.

They're off Sunday for graduation and back to Gillette Monday for games with Rock Springs and Douglas.

They play three straight double headers on the road in Rapid City, Powell and Riverton to start the month of June before hosting four straight at home

They will also be hosting the annual Trooper youth baseball camp June 6th-8th at Thorne-Rider stadium. The camp is open to all kids ages 7-15 registration forms are available at the Sheridan Recreation District.

BABE RUTH BASEBALL - Sheridan Babe Ruth baseball is hosting a tournament during the holiday weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Redle field in Thorne-Rider park.

Three Sheridan teams will host teams from Buffalo, Billings and Great Falls Montana.

Play begins with two games Friday evening at 5:00 and 7:00 with seven games starting at 9:00 Saturday morning. Three games are scheduled Sunday with the championship game at 2:15.

LOCAL BASKETBALL - A lot basketball is coming up in June the 3 on 3 Hoop Jam is next weekend followed by the annual Wyoming / Montana all-star basketball series will be played in Sheridan and Billings June 8th and 9th.

The Lady Bronc basketball program will host a 5th - 8th grade camp June 4th, 5th and 6th.

The Sheridan college boys youth camp will run from June 11th through the 14th and the Lady Generals girls youth basketball camp will be held June 18th through 21st.

Lady Generals coach Frank McCarthy says his camp is open to all girls in Sheridan county.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies won 8-4 in Miami last night snapping a six game losing streak.
