Lady Bronc Kayla Woodward makes 4-A All-State

ALL-STATE / ALL-CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team had one all state team selection and two all conference selections.

Making the East all-conference team were Kayla Woodward and Stephanie Sessions, Woodward was also named to the 4-A all-state team.

The Big Horn Lady Rams had three all-conference selections they were Katie Van Hoosier, Mali Wright and Kori Puckett, Wright and Van Hoosier were also named to the 2-A all-state team.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles had two players make the all-northeast conference team they were Kim Caywood and Katie Ferguson.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS - The semi final round of the Wyoming high school football playoffs will have games on Friday and Saturday this week.

In a change from last week the Big Horn Rams will play Saturday afternoon. The Rams host Greybull in one 2-A semi final Saturday at 1:00. We will broadcast the game live on AM 14-10 KWYO.

The other 2-A semi final will also be played Saturday and will have Thermopolis playing at Lovell.

BRONC PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Cheyenne East Friday night in one 4-A semi final. The Broncs escaped an upset bid against Kelly Walsh last Friday while Cheyenne east pulled off a great turn around and upset Evanston to advance.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian says they put the KW game behind them and are focusing in on a very good Cheyenne East team.

East finished the regular season with three wins but are getting hot at the right time.

The First time the Broncs played East the T-Birds threw the ball all over Homer Scott stadium, the Broncs won that game 42-20.

East quarterback Trevon Hinker threw for almost 300 yards in that game but last week they pulled one over on Evanston and the Broncs will have to ready for anything this week.

Broadcast time Friday night is at 5:30 with the Don Julian show presented by First Federal savings bank kickoff is at 6:00 on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

ACT Communications and Sheridan college will be joining us for the live video and audio webcast of the game.

The other 4-A semi final has Gillette at Natrona county that game will be played Saturday afternoon at 1:00.

BISON PLAYOFF FOOTBALL - The Buffalo Bison advanced last week beating lander they play in the 3-A semi finals at Cody Friday night.

COWBOYS FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys play a road game at New Mexico Saturday afternoon broadcast time is at 3:00 with kickoff at 4:00 we will have the game on live following the Big Horn playoff game.

BRONCOS FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos have their bye week this week and will resume their schedule with a home game against Kansas City on the 14th.

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The college basketball season starts this week with the Sheridan college Lady Generals hosting a two-day tournament Friday and Saturday. Games Friday night will be at 5 and 7 and they'll go and 1 and 3 Saturday.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Generals will open their season next with a road game up to Little Big Horn community college.
