GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals found out yesterday that they entered the National Junior college basketball Top 25 poll. They enter the poll for the first time this season at number #25.

They took that ranking into action last night at Western Nebraska CC in Scottsbluff and came away with an impressive 86-84 victory. Freshmen Lamont Prosser led five Generals in double figures with 17 points including six straight points in the games closing minutes.

With the win the Generals are now 8-0 and you'll get a chance to see them in action Friday and Saturday when they host a four game tournament at the Hoffman dome.

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Lady Generals will travel this weekend to play two games at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams open the season together hosting games with Green River Friday night.

The Lady Broncs got the preseason class 4-A number one ranking and Head coach Derek Bissitt says the Lady Broncs are ready to get the season underway.

As far as the number one ranking, Bissitt says it shows the respect the program has around the state.

The Broncs are itching to get going as well Head coach Mike Ibach.

The Broncs got off to a bit of a slower start with more of the varsity making the transition from football to basketball but Ibach says they're excited to get the season started.

We will broadcast both games live for you Friday night the girls tip off at 5:45 and the boys at 7:30 the games can be heard on both AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM.

Saturday the Lady Broncs play at Billings Skyview while the Broncs host Skyview both varsity games tip off at 4:30 Saturday afternoon.

You can hear both games live the Lady Broncs will be on 105.9 FM and the Broncs on 95.9 FM.

RAMS / EAGLES BASKETBALL - The Big Horn basketball teams will open the season at a tournament hosted by Lusk and the Tongue River basketball teams will be at a tournament hosted by Thermopolis.

SHS / BHS HOOPS - Next week the Sheridan and Buffalo teams meet Friday December 10th the boys games will be played in Sheridan while the girls play in Buffalo both varsity games will be broadcast live on AM 14-10 KWYO AND 95.9 FM.

COWBOY BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys will play at South Dakota tonight we will have the broadcast for you live on AM 14-10 KWYO and 95.9 FM broadcast time is at 5:30 with the tip at 6:00.
