2015 WYO Rodeo totals / Troops drop two in Casper / Jets beat Billings / Rockies take four from Atlanta and head into the MLB All-star break

WYO RODEO FINALE - The 2015 Sheridan WYO rodeo final money payoff was just shy of 260 thousand dollars.

Here are the overall winners in the Bareback riding Tanner Aus and Taylor Price tied with scores of 85 and earned 4600 dollar each, former Sheridan Bronc Devan Reilly tied for 6th and made a little less than 800 dollars

In the Bronc riding Allen Boore took the overall with a score of 84 and took home 4500 dollars.

In the Tie Down roping Caleb Smidt took the average at won 3600 dollars and in the team roping Coleman Proctor and Jake Long took the average winning 3700 dollars each.

Seth Brockam took the average in Steer Wrestling and won 3100 dollars.

21 time world champion Trevor Brazile had a great week in Sheridan winning the Steer roping average and taking the All-Around title.

In the Barrel race Cassidy Kruse took the average and took home 4700 dollars.

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers played a double header in Casper Sunday, the Oilers took both games by scores of 7-5 and 11-7.

Both teams got at it again Wednesday night at Thorne-Rider stadium starting at 5:00.

The Sheridan Jets beat the Billings Boltz via the ten run rule Sunday at Thorne-rider stadium Head coachRyan Murner.

JETS BASEBALL - The Jets have just a handful of games left before the state "B" tournament starts in Casper next week and Murner says the young Jets have shown a great deal of improvement as the season starts to close down.

Moving forward toward the state tournament Murner wants his guys to finish strong.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies beat Atlanta Sunday 11-3 to sweep the Braves in the four game series.

MLB takes it's mid season break, the All-Star game is being played in Cincinnati the home run derby is tonight and the mid-summer classic is tomorrow night.

BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc football coaches will hold their three day youth mini camp starting this evening and running through Wednesday at Homer Scott stadium.

The camp is open to all boys and girls K-8th grade, pre registration will start at 4:30 today with the one hour camp starting at 5:00.

The Bronc football players 9-12 will go through three days of workouts as well from 6-8 pm all three nights.
