2015 Winter sports season resumes this week

BRONC WRESTLING - The Border War duals with the Billings schools were canceled Saturday as poor travel conditions did not let the Billings teams get out of town.

This week the Broncs will compete at the "Shane Shatto" invitational in Douglas.

TR / BH BASKETBALL - The Tongue River basketball split non-conference games with Rocky Mountain the Lady Eagles won over to Byron 49-35 while Eagles will lost at home to the Grizzlies 63-50.

This week Big Horn and Tongue River are hosting another tournament with games at both schools Friday and Saturday several teams from the southeast conference will be in for the event.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams get back on the court to Thursday when they open a three day tournament in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs will play Green River, Rock Springs and Ft. Collins, Colorado the Broncs will play Green River, Rock Springs and Casper Kelly Walsh all six games will be broadcast live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Lady Broncs are 4-1 overall Head coach Jessica Pickett says the Lady Broncs are one of the top teams in 4-A but have a lot of improving to do before conference play opens in two weeks.

And the players much make each other better in practice every day.

The Broncs begin 2015 winning two in a row and standing at 3-3 overall, Head coach Gale Smith says for the Broncs to stay tough they must be together and continue their hard work.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals play at 3:00 against an all-star team at the Hoffman dome the Generals game with Malmstron Air Force base scheduled for 5:00 has been canceled.

They resume Wyoming conference play next Friday with games at northwest college in Powell.

INDOOR TRACK - Sheridan high school indoor track practice begins after school today, the first meet is set for the 16th in Spearfish, South Dakota.

SWIMMING - The Bronc swimmers will host a preview meet of the Sheridan invitational Friday evening and the full Sheridan invite will take place Saturday starting at 9:00.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls have conference games Wednesday against CSU both games will tip at 7:00, you can hear the Pokes on KWYO and Cowgirls on 87.7 FM.

BRONCO FOOTBALL - The Denver Broncos host Indianapolis Sunday in the NFL divisional playoffs we will have the game live on 14-10 KWYO pregame starts at 12:35 with the kickoff at 2:40.
