1-A / 2-A Regional hoop brackets set / Broncs / Lady Broncs at Gillette Friday / State Wrestling and Swimming open Friday

2-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Tongue River Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams open the East regional tournament in Cheyenne Thursday, the Lady Eagles will open the tournament at 9 am against Lusk.

The Eagles will open the boys bracket at 10:30 against Southeast.

The Big Horn Lady Rams will open the tournament in the late game with Pine Bluffs at 7 pm. The Rams will take on Burns in their opener at 5:30.

1-A EAST REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Arvada / Clearmont Panthers open the 1-A East regional at Sheridan high school Thursday against number one seed Lingle at 6 pm.

The Panthers got in the tournament beating Hulett in last night's play in game 69-61.

The NSI wolves open the bracket Thursday and 6 pm against Hanna Elk Mountain.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams end the regular season at Gillette Friday night game times are scheduled for 6:00 and 7:30 you can hear both games live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

UW BASKETBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys host San Diego state tomorrow night tip off is scheduled for 8:00 live on KWYO and 87.7 FM.

The Wyoming Cowgirls play at SDSU tomorrow night.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals basketball season is over because of sanctions from the NJCAA they will not play in their Region nine tournament.

The Lady Generals have their final regular season game tomorrow at Eastern Wyoming in Torrington. then it's onto the women's Region nine tournament it will be hosted by Gillette.

STATE WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers open the state wrestling championships in Casper, matches begin Friday morning at 9:00 at the Casper events center.

STATE SWIMMING / DIVING - The Bronc swimmers open their state championships in Gillette Friday afternoon.

Head coach Brent Moore says the Broncs have had a very good season and are ready to go.

And he says the last several days has been about rest and preparing to be fast on Friday.
