Eugene B. Williams, 91, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Inurnment with Military Honors will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018, in the Sheridan Elks Memorial Cemetery. A dinner reception will follow at 4:30 pm at the Elks Lodge.

Logan James Corley was born on February 28, 1987 in Riverton, Wyoming, the first born child of Jim and Debbie Corley. At the age of five, the family moved to Sheridan. Sheridan was always his home. He attended Sagebrush Elementary School, Central Middle School, and graduated from Sheridan High School in 2005.

Funeral services for William L. “Bill” Gibbs, 68-year old Buffalo resident who passed away Saturday in Littleton, Colorado, will be held Friday, December 21, 2018. Father Pete Johnson, Celebrant, will conduct the funeral ceremony at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Harness Funeral Home, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Richard “Dick” Summers, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette, WY. He is proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Jessie Summers, Sister Betty Gooch, infant brother, and his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Ann Summers. Dick was a long-time Sheridan resident.

Grand Rapids, MI, on September 24, 1942, to John and Jane Bouwkamp. She passed
away on December 11, 2018 in Sheridan, WY. Her family was with her.

Richard Marion Torrens was born on March 13, 1936 in Willmore, Kansas to Elmer Torrens and Margaret (Wood) Torrens. He was the second child of 4 born to Elmer and Margaret. In 1941 in order to make for better opportunities the family came to Wyoming as Kansas was in the heart of the dust bowl. The family started out in a dugout near the Rozette/ Moorcroft area before settling in Sheridan.

A private family graveside service for May Chabot, 91 year old Kaycee resident who passed away at Johnson County Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, will be held Wednesday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, with Bob Ruby officiating. Donations in May’s memory may be made to the Hoof Prints of the Past Museum in Kaycee, Wyoming in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N.

James “Jim” Salstrom, 91, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Sheridan, WY to August and Dorothy (Toy) Salstrom on August 18, 1927. He joined the Coast Guard during World War II. He married Loretta Gabor on June 6, 1977.

Mary was born October 15, 1933 to Robert and Rose McNutt in Fort Collins, CO.

Mary grew up in Fort Collins with 7 brother and sisters.

He would summarize his life as "I arrived, I lived, I died". However any person having known him will testify that Pete's life was much more than these few simple words.

Ruth Nadine (Daylong) Townsend passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Born at home on March 2, 1927 to A. Louise (Moots) and Lilbur C. Daylong in Billings, Montana. Growing up in Billings, she attended elementary schools and graduated from Billings Senior High in 1945. Funeral services for Wally Betz, 77 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly Monday morning at his home in Buffalo, will be held Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Mike Lavato officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

We are sad to announce the passing of Carol “Joan” Webster, a resident of Sheridan, Wyoming. Joan entered this world on January 14, 1947. She was born to Idell (Duke) Crall and Lloyd Crall in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was the middle of four children. While Kansas State Teacher’s College, she met Robert Webster and they married on June 11, 1967. She had two children, Robert and Jason.

Shannon L. Turns Plenty, 53, of Sheridan, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sheridan Manor. She was born March 22, 1965 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Ted W. and Peggy Ann (MacCatherine) Buckley.
