Karolyanna G. Duncan, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at her residence. She was born on November 4, 1945, in Sheridan, WY, to parents Kenneth and Amelia (Potoscar) Barnes.

Funeral services for Miles Brimeyer, 57 year old Buffalo resident who passed way at his home in Buffalo will be held Friday, July 7th at 10:00 a.m. from the Harness Funeral Home in Buffalo with Father Peter Johnson officiating. Donations in Mr. Brimeyer’s memory may be made to the Miles Brimeyer Memorial, a fund being set up for the education of his grandchildren.

Ronald John Robinson, 78, of Sioux Falls South Dakota, formerly of Story, WY, passed away on June 26, 2017, in Sioux Falls. Ronald was born in Colby, KS, on February 22, 1939. He lived in Bethune, CO, Arvada, CO, Fort Collins, CO, Glendale AZ, Story, WY and Sioux Falls, SD. He worked as a musician, cowboy, carpenter, and artist.

Paula Jean Nayes, age 78, of Sheridan, passed away Jan. 9, 2017, at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash., after complications from leukemia.

A Celebration of Life Gathering with a casual lunch will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Kane Funeral Home Reception Hall.

Donald Theron Griffin Sr., 90, of Story WY, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at his residence. Donald was born in Clearwater, Florida, April 13, 1927 to Bert Theron and Corrie (Ham) Griffin. He Graduated from the University of Florida in 1950, and later married Esther MacLeod on March 13, 1954. Through the years, their union was blessed with three children, Dixie, Dan and Don.

Paula Jean Nayes, age 78, of Sheridan, passed away Jan. 9, 2017, at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Wash., after complications from leukemia.

JoAnne Jacobs Kemper, 86, of Sheridan, WY, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Rock Creek Rehabilitation Center in Sheridan Manor surrounded by her loving friends and family. She was born June 4, 1931 at St. Joseph Hospital in Alliance, NE to Alfonzo and Lora (Speer) Jacobs.

Susan Huber died June 22nd in Sheridan, WY after battling lung cancer. She was born Susan Rose Hall on February 28, 1941 in Altoona, PA. Upon graduation from Altoona High in 1959, Susan moved to Santa Barbara where she married and raised two sons.
Susan worked in banking until retiring to Wyoming in 1998 where she lived until her death.

Richard Allen Hoover (Dick) was born to Clarence Stanley Hoover and Cathrine (Eisenhauer) Hoover in Lebanon, PA on April 22, 1942. He passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 75, on Sunday morning of June 25, 2017, after an extended struggle with cancer.

Rex L. Martin, 72, of Sheridan, Wyoming, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. He has been cremated.

Joanne Ball Harvey, 85, of Story, WY, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Joanne was born in Sheridan, WY, February 19, 1932, to Ray C. Ball and Ella M. (Wolfe) Ball. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1950, and earned a B.S. in Physical Education at the University of Wyoming in 1954 where she met Ronald D. Harvey, who she married in 1955.

Elsa Ruby, 81, passed away at the Westview Health Care Center on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was born November 24, 1935, in Monarch, WY to parents Paul and Olga (Takach) Sturtz. She attended grade school in Acme and graduated from Sheridan High School. On September 19, 1953, she married Louis Ruby in Sheridan. Their union was blessed with three son's, Rocky, Steve, and Tom.

Private services for Ronald Ewing, 68 year old Buffalo resident who passed away quietly Friday June 16th at his home in Buffalo will be held by his family and friends in the Big Horn Mountains at a time to be announced. Donations to help defray final expenses for Mr. Ewing may be made to the Ron Ewing Memorial in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N.

Funeral services for Patricia Havens, 69 year old Buffalo resident who passed away late Sunday evening at the Johnson County Healthcare Center in Buffalo will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Buffalo with Father Doug Wasinger officiating. Interment will be in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Mary was born on December 5th, 1922, in Rapid City, S.D. to Clarence and Nellie (Fox) Switzer. She lived with her parents and three siblings at Rocky Point, WY, a small farm and ranch community, 60 miles northeast of Gillette, WY. The one room schoolhouse up the road provided the four Switzer children with a formidable education as well as many fond childhood memories.
