Funeral services for Steven Mendenhall, 55 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Friday at the V.A. Medical Center in Sheridan, will be held Friday February 17th at 2:00 p.m. from the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Buffalo with Pastor Gordon Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held from the Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with military graveside honors provided by the Buffalo American Legion and VFW. Donations in Mr. Mendenhall’s memory may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo.

Steven Alan Mendenhall was born on November 12, 1956 in Portland, Oregon to Jake and Elizabeth Mendenhall. He grew up and received his education in Oregon and joined the Army in January of 1976. Following an honorable discharge Steven worked as a diesel mechanic for several years working mostly on heavy equipment. He became disabled and lived for a time at the Veteran’s Home of Wyoming. He settled in Buffalo where he continued living until the time of his death. He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by one daughter
