Funeral services for Sandy Caudron, 70 year old Buffalo woman who passed away early Monday morning, April 8th at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held by her family in the early part of summer on a date that will be announced. Donations in Sandy’s memory may be made to the Johnson County Library in care of the Adams Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery.
Sandra Lou Caudron was born on August 30, 1942 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Alfred “Frank” and Roberta “Bobbie” Caudron. As a young girl she moved to Buffalo, Wyoming where she grew up and went to school, graduating from Buffalo high school. After high school she attended Chadron State College where she received a degree in Sociology in 1979. After college she worked in Casper for Windy City Enterprises caring for the mentally and physically challenged. She moved back to Buffalo where she worked as a Librarian for 9 years and later for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher for five years. Sandy had been a resident at the Amie Holt Care Center for a short time prior to her death.
Sandy was active in the Rebekah’s Lodge for many years and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Buffalo Wesleyan Church and will always be remembered for compassion and caring nature, her spirit, her spunk and a can do attitude.
She is survived by two cousins Shirley Brookey and her husband Tim of Fort Collins, Colorado and William Hanking and his wife Sharon of Shelbyville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, one cousin, Nelda Green
