Funeral services for Ron Weiss, 70-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Wednesday afternoon at his home in Buffalo will be held Monday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Reverend Paul Gilbert officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Gerald Robert Powers, was born October 8, 1990 to Duane and Belinda (Roe) Powers in Sheridan Wyoming. He died October 16, 2018. He attended school in Sheridan and Big Horn, WY, and graduated from Big Horn High School in 2009.

Funeral services for Darlene Petrie, 90 year old Buffalo woman who passed away late Monday evening at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Saturday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Jarvis officiating. Visitation will be from the funeral home chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m.

Walter Reno Alderson, 21, formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Ft. Polk, LA.

Services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Kane Funeral Home with Chaplain Derek Schultz officiating. A reception will follow at the Sheridan Inn.

Funeral services for Chuck Buell, 70 year old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away Friday at the Memorial Hospital in Sheridan, surrounded by his family, will be held Friday October 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center in Buffalo with Jed Fitch officiating. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home in Buffalo on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Joseph “Joe” Boyd Baker V, a multi-faceted individual, had many talents – an artist, gardener, outdoorsman, teacher, and railroader. He was especially proficient at being a trickster. And those who knew and loved him well stated he was a master at that skill because of his adept sense of humor.

Kent “Sandy” Ward, 71, of Buffalo, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at his residence.

John J. Sykes, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Dayton, WY. He was born on September 21, 1941 in Detroit, MI to Edward W. and Antonina (Visnorovitz) Sykes. He was raised in New England by his mother and grandmother. At 17 he joined the U.S. Air Force where he was educated to become a meteorologist. In 1979 he retired after 20 years of service.

Barbara A. Tapp, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Westview Health Care Center.
